Jones Walker attorney Debra Levy has been elected a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation. Only one-third of one percent of Texas Bar members are nominated each year. Ms. Levy's selection was based on her professional and civic contributions to the community. According to the Texas Bar Foundation, Fellows represent those members of the State Bar of Texas whose professional, public, and private careers have demonstrated their outstanding legal ability and their devotion to the welfare of the community, state, and nation, as well as to the advancement of the legal profession. The Foundation's mission is to advance the cause of justice in Texas, and it supports programs that encourage legal assistance for the needy, education of the public, and ethics in the legal profession.
