Quirk Appointed to Board of Governors of Bar Association of the Fifth Federal Circuit
Jones Walker attorney Aimee M. Quirk has been appointed to the Board of Governors of the Bar Association of the Fifth Federal Circuit as a Governor at Large from the State of Louisiana. The Bar Association of the Fifth Federal Circuit was founded in 1984 at the suggestion of then Chief Judge Charles Clark, and it currently boasts nearly 5,000 members from across the nation. Its purposes include improving and facilitating the administration of justice in the federal courts within the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit; raising the standards of proficiency and integrity in federal practice; working with trial and appellate courts within the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit to develop and implement effective, efficient, and uniform rules of practice and procedure; and assisting the judiciary of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit as requested.
