Jeff Tillery is a partner in the firm’s Admiralty & Maritime Practice Group and has for more than 20 years focused primarily on representing clients in the areas of maritime personal injury and collision matters, general litigation, longshore matters, and marine insurance coverage disputes. He is a regular speaker on maritime issues at seminars around the country. Some of these presentations include: “Recent Developments in Maritime Law” for the Greater New Orleans Barge and Fleeting Seminar, April 2006 and again in April 2007, and "The Collision – A Scenario with Damage and Sinking," April 2008; "Recent Decisions in the 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th Circuits Affecting the Administration of the Longshoremen and Harbor Workers Compensation Act," Signal Maritime Forum, May 2007; “Maintenance and Cure Claims,” Louisiana Trial Lawyers Association Seminar, 2006; "Jones Act Basics," Louisiana Claims Association, 2008; "Masters of the Courtroom," New Orleans Bar Association CLE Seminar, December 2007; “Recent Developments in Maritime Law,” Tulane Maritime Seminar, 2004; “Handling of a Major Offshore Casualty,” Maritime Law Association Seminar in Phoenix, Arizona, November 2001; and at the Houston Oil & Gas Seminar, 2005 and 2006.
