Mike DePetrillo is an associate in the firm's Business & Commercial Litigation Practice Group. He joined the firm in 2007, after receiving his juris doctor degree, magna cum laude, from Tulane University Law School. He received his bachelor of science degree, magna cum laude, from Hofstra University in 2003.
Mr. DePetrillo is active in the New Orleans legal community, presently serving on the Board of Directors for the Young Lawyers Division of the New Orleans Chapter of the Federal Bar Association as well as the Board of Directors for the New Orleans Association of Defense Counsel. He has also been involved with the New Orleans Area Habitat for Humanity. Mr. DePetrillo currently serves on a membership task force commissioned by the president of the American Bar Association. Prior to this appointment, he served as Chair of the Law Student Division and was the 2007 recipient of the division's Gold Key.
Originally from Amityville, New York, Mr. DePetrillo previously worked in broadcasting as the station manager and on-air talent at WRHU, Long Island's oldest non-commercial radio station. He also served as an Americorps volunteer for one year in Baltimore.
