A partner in the firm's Business & Commercial Litigation Practice Group, Leon Gary has more than 40 years of experience managing and trying complex cases such as asbestos and other toxic torts, antitrust, class actions, Civil RICO, business and commercial disputes, securities, and federal tax matters. Much of Mr. Gary's experience, in addition to defending manufacturers of asbestos containing products, has been in defending tire manufacturers in tire failure cases and power turbine/generator manufacturers in defending turbine failure cases. Mr. Gary also handles Federal and State Tax Litigation and Trusts and Estates Litigation. He has served his alma mater as an adjunct law professor teaching advanced litigation and litigation management. A native Louisianian, his passion is utilizing technology for efficient and cost-effective litigation. He has served as chair of the American Bar Association's Law Practice Management Section and as a member of the ABA's Coordinating Committee on Legal Technology. He is a Fellow of the International Society of Barristers. He writes and speaks frequently on his areas of interest.
